This also applies to half the dates on the tour although some have a bar or refreshments. Feel free to get in touch for further info, although we will post details beforehand where possible.

The date at Ibsley on Saturday will have a light refreshments bar. All village hall dates are doors 7.00pm for a 7.30 start and admission is £6 for all. There is no support acts so get there early as capacities are largely 100 or below although, there are a few larger venues.

Finally, the last date on the tour, at Tilligton in West Sussex has been CANCELLED due to unforseen circumstances. Sorry for any inconvienience.

| TQR signed to Fellside

April sees the 30th anniversary of Fellside Recordings. In preparation is a triple-CD-for-the-price-of-one collection of tracks gleaned from the whole catalogue of 200 albums. Entitled 'LANDMARKS' (FECD203) it will be released in June. We celebrate our 30th year with a new signing, THE QUEENSBERRY RULES, a trio who have been steadily making a name for themselves. Look out for their CD in the summer.

The Queensberry Rules put pen to paper on a record deal with Fellside Recordings yesterday (19th March 2006). They are the label that launched the careers of multi folk award winners Spiers and Boden, as well as boasting Jez Lowe, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan and Dr Faustus amongst their output of over 400 releases to date. This is their 30th anniversary and the album will be heavily publicised. I (the webmaster) managed to ask Duncan how he felt about signing to Fellside Recordings and his reply came back "We're all very excited".

The third album 'Heritage and History' is the bands best album to date. It has a much fuller sound and a rich texture. We will be posting a track in the form of an mp3 this week and posting the album cover as well. The band as usual have a lyric booklet which is always welcome when listening to new songs.
